What is a Custom Orthotic?
A custom made orthotic provides individualized structural support to help correct and align the foot from the imbalance of problematic feet that has caused strain on your body. Custom made orthotics offer comfort and support to reduce the strain not only for the feet but to other parts of the body. A custom orthotic is designed to fit comfortably in your footwear as an insole.

What do I have to ask the insurance company?
Here are a few recommended questions you should ask your insurance company.
- Does my insurance plan cover custom-made orthotics?
- Is my insurance plan based on calendar year or benefit year?
- How many pairs am I covered for each plan period?
- What percentage is covered (100% or partial)
- What is the maximum payable ($ dollar amount) per pair, per year?
What happens during an assessment?
We start by conducting a thorough assessment on the health of your feet. This starts by learning more about your day-to-day activities, a gait analysis, a biomechanical evaluation and other concerns you provide us with. From this, our team is able to provide you with treatment options and the best custom orthotic according to your needs. We will then inform you of different options to customize your orthotic according to your shoe and foot type. We create a three dimensional mold of your feet that is used to create your orthotic. The entire assessment is designed to be quick, enjoyable and painless!
